FAQs

Do I need to wear Grip Socks?

Yes, grip socks are mandatory for all classes (inc. Mat). They help maintain hygiene, support health and safety, and provide added stability during your practice. Without grip socks, you won’t be able to participate. If you don’t have a pair, grip socks are available to purchase at the studio (subject to availability).

You can book a class up to 2 weeks ahead of time. You can also reserve a spot as late as 20 minutes before the class starts (as long as there’s space available).

Because our classes are small and popular, we ask that you cancel at least 12 hours in advance through MindBody. If you cancel late or don’t show up, you’ll lose a class credit.

You can cancel your class either through the Mindbody website or you can download the Mindbody: Fitness & Wellness app from the Apple or Google Play store.

Each class can have up to 5 people on the waitlist at any given time. If all 5 spots are filled, the class will show as unavailable. The waitlist closes 2 hours before the class begins—after that point, you won’t be able to join or remove yourself. If a spot opens up and you’re next in line, you’ll be automatically added to the class and notified.

We provide high-quality equipment for all classes, including mats, so there’s no need to bring anything. However, if you prefer to use your own mat, you’re more than welcome to bring it with you.

From 16-20 weeks pregnant onwards, depending on your level of experience, health in pregnancy, and medical advice, we would recommend joining our Mums Club or book 1:1 sessions with our pregnancy qualified instructors rather than taking on our regular classes.

Post partum we would recommend waiting 8-12 weeks until you either begin or return to Pilates classes depending on your fitness levels and birth. We would recommend starting with Mums Club or booking 1:1 sessions with our postal natal qualified instructors who can then advise you on when you might be ready to join our regular classes.

Absolutely! Our Mat Studio classes—including mat Pilates, barre, and yoga—are suitable for all levels. Whether you’re completely new or looking to advance your practice, our instructors will guide you with variations and support tailored to your experience.

If you’re new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with at least three Align classes before progressing to Pure, Power, or Active sessions. This helps you build a strong foundation and feel confident as you move forward.

You must be at 16 years old to attend our classes.
